Daniel L. Gray (Chairman & Co-founder) has served as the Chairman and CEO of Northstar Companies, Inc.(“Northstar”). Northstar was founded in 2000 to advise ultra high net worth international families and to engage in M&A transactions.  After divesting 95% of Northstar, Mr. Gray formed a formed a successor organization, Nautilus Strategic Advisors (Bermuda) Limited in April 2021.

As of January 1, 2021, Mr. Gray was appointed as an “Operating Partner” of BlackRock Long Term Private Capital in support of their global insurance and reinsurance initiatives. The first twenty-two years of his career were with AXA Equitable where he served, among other roles, as President of Midwestern Operations and as SVP of Corporate Strategy. He reported to Chairman & CEO Richard Jenrette and President Joseph J. Melone and helped with the company’s restructuring and strategic planning during its historic demutualization and IPO. Since 2014, Mr. Gray has devoted a substantial amount of his time towards Emerging Markets microinsurance initiatives.

Mr. Gray received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Millikin University. He currently serves on many industry Boards in the US, , Bermuda  and Europe. He has served over the years on Non- Profit Boards of Helen Keller International and the Cancer Research Institute in NYC. He was a frequent lecturer on ”Leadership and Decision-Making During Times of Crisis and Change” at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University from 1994-1999.

Jean-Francois Lemay (Chief Actuary & Co-founder) has over 30 years of experience in the life insurance industry.  He currently is the Chief Actuary and CIO of Providence, a Bermuda Life insurance company.  He also serves on the board of Ohio State Life, a Texas-based annuity company.  Most recently he was Chief Actuary of Alesia Re, a Cayman based life reinsurance company focusing on pension risk transfer.  Previously, he was Chief Investment Officer of Front Street Re, a Cayman Reinsurance Company, overseeing investments, pricing and structuring of new reinsurance deals and developing the economic capital framework.  Before that, he was CIO of NorthStar Re.  His experience also includes VP, Portfolio Risk Optimization services at Sceptre Capital Management, where he developed and ran an optimization system for LDI of life-insurance assets and VP and Actuary, Corporate and Investments at Reinsurance Group of America.  Mr. Lemay has built sophisticated models for risk management, capital allocation and the pricing of complex liabilities, such as variable annuities.  He graduated as a Bachelor of Actuarial Science from Laval University, Quebec.

Adam Coe (President & CEO) has served in strategic and financial roles within the Life Insurance and Retirement industry for over 20 years. Most recently, Mr. Coe spent over 4 years at Transamerica (Aegon) leading a range of finance functions, including Financial Planning, Transformation Office Finance, Expense Management, and Procurement / Vendor Risk Management. Previously, he spent nearly a decade with Equitable / AXA US, in progressive roles including Business CFO, Head of M&A, Wealth Management CFO and Director of Strategic Initiatives. At Equitable, Mr. Coe also helped the successful EQH 2018 IPO / separation from AXA, and led several M&A transactions, including an acquisition of a COLI TPA. In addition to his time with leading U.S. insurance carriers, Mr. Coe worked with large global companies as a consultant at Towers Perrin and Kearney.

Mr. Coe received his Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University and his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, where he was a President’s Endowed Scholar and graduated cum laude. Mr. Coe has earned his Associate credential of the Society of Actuaries (ASA).

Tom Wamberg (Operating Partner) has enjoyed two careers. Insurance and Genomics. Mr. Wamberg served as the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Clark Consulting, NYSE, CLK, which successfully went public in 1998 and was purchased by AEGON in 2007.  During his insurance career he was the President of AALU, and the International Forum. He is the author of three books on the subject of Bank Owned Life Insurance. He has testified before Congress in respect to the defense of inside build up and worked with the OCC to draft and publish final regulations in respect to bank ownership of life insurance.

In 2016 Mr. Wamberg served as the President of the Human Longevity Institute in San Diego. In 2017 Mr. Wamberg founded Wamberg Genomic Advisors, now Genomic Life, which built a membership cancer prevention product, Cancer Guardian, which is successfully sold as a voluntary benefit in the workplace through 100’s of employers.

In 2021 Mr. Wamberg founded and was the Chairman and CEO of HealthOME, Inc,. In 2023 Mr. Wamberg founded and is the Chairman and CEO of Longevity Life Advisors, Inc.  The objective is to give affordable genomic and precision health tools to policyholders to allow them to live longer and healthier lives.  Mr. Wamberg has served on 20 corporate boards and has appeared frequently on Squawk Box and CNBC as a business commentator on corporate governance. Mr. Wamberg is a member of the 1,000 Longevity Leaders, the 100 Human Resource Influencers and most importantly was the Father of the Year for the Illinois Fatherhood Initiative in 2004. Mr. Wamberg has 7 children and 9 grandchildren.
